Job Description

Seeking a Manual Machinist to fabricate precision parts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual lathes and milling machines to fabricate precision components based on engineering drawings and specifications. This role is critical in supporting production, engineering, maintenance, and custom fabrication needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate manual lathes and milling machines to produce metal and plastic parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Measure, mark, and inspect raw materials to prepare for machining.
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to ensure tolerances and part accuracy.
• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with engineers and other machinists to solve production challenges and improve processes.
• Document work performed and maintain accurate production records.
• Strong understanding of shop math, tolerances, and mechanical drawings.
