The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a medical-surgical hospital setting. This role requires an Associate degree, NC RN licensure, BLS certification, and preferably one year of healthcare experience.

Position Summary:
The Med/Surg RN will provide direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This position will meet the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural and needs of the patient and family and will communicate effectively with all members of the health care team as appropriate about changes in the patient's condition or response to treatment.

Required Education:  
Associate degree is required.   Bachelor ' s degree is preferred.

Registered Nurse in North Carolina is required (or compact state)
