As a Public Relations Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in amplifying community impact and nonprofit visibility:

• Build and maintain relationships with local media outlets, journalists, influencers , and community leaders

• Monitor media coverage , analyze public sentiment, and prepare performance reports

• Collaborate with marketing, outreach, and leadership teams to ensure clear, consistent messaging

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Passionate about public service, nonprofit work, and social impact causes

• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, mission-driven environments

• Eagerness to learn, grow, and contribute to meaningful campaigns

• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative

• Bonus: Coursework or background in communications, PR, journalism, or marketing is a plus—but not required
