Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Production Assistant to join our team. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong inclination for mechanical tasks and a knack for general upkeep. The ideal candidate will assist with shipping duties, utilize Excel for record-keeping, and have experience or willingness to operate a forklift .

Responsibilities

• Assist in shipping operations and ensure accuracy in order processing.
• Utilize Excel for maintaining records and tracking shipments.
• Maintain general upkeep of production areas and equipment.
• Be mechanically inclined to support production tasks efficiently.
• Contribute positively to the team with a go-getter attitude.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in using Excel for record-keeping and data tracking.
• Basic mechanical skills to support production tasks.
• Ability to maintain general upkeep of production environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience or willingness to operate a forklift.
• Familiarity with production, fabrication, general labor, assembly, welding, and packaging processes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr.
